Our Board of Directors
Fremont General believes that the responsibility of the
Board of Directors is to review and regularly monitor the effectiveness of the
Company's fundamental operating, financial and other business plans, policies
and decisions, including the execution of its strategies and objectives.
Fremont General's Board of Directors is comprised of seven directors, a majority of which are independent directors. The committees of the Board include the Audit Committee, the Compensation Committee and the Governance and Nominating Committee. The Board has appointed only independent non-employee directors to these committees. The formal charters for each of these committees can be found under the Governance
